John Jay Doggett is an FBI Special Agent who was assigned to work on the X-files. He had previously served in the US Marine Corps and the New York Police Department. On April 4, 1960, John Doggett was born in Democrat Hot Springs, Atlanta, Georgia. He is divorced from Barbara Doggett, they had one son together named Luke. John was constantly affected by the fact that Luke's murder case was never solved and the killer never brought to justice, which put a strain on his marriage to Barbara, eventually ending it.
